Everything

By Mara Crossett

All the universe is mine,
All the galaxies I see.
Nothing but a little light
In the black, blue sea.

All the green valley is mine,
All the forests that I see.
Nothing but a little branch
In the green, gray sea.

All the Arctic Ocean’s mine,
All the lakes that I see.
Nothing but a little wave
In the blue, blurred sea.

All the mountain range is mine,
All the peaks that I see.
Nothing but a little stone
In the white-wind sea.

I decided to explore my world,
All the backyard that I see.
Nothing but a little seed
In the world’s landscaped sea.
