Once I went hunting with my father, mother, brother, friend G.W., and Aunt Della with a boat. It took a very long time. Finally we found a spot. We snuck through the long yellow grass. We saw a herd of caribou. One came close. My Dad shot it. We didn’t know where it was because it was very tall grass. Birds started circling the caribou. Then we finally found it. We cut off the head because we didn’t want the head. Then we started to cut it up with a little knife. It was hard work. We took out the heart and tongue. We put them in plastic bags. I carried the heart and tongue. Then we had tongue and heart soup, yummmmm.
