SqirmawellaBy McKenzie Kruse Smedley A mealworm fairytale Once upon a time, there was a mealworm whose father was very nice. They were very happy until her father decided to remarry. He married a wicked woman with two beautiful mealworm daughters. Soon they were bossing Sqirmawella around making her do all the work. One of the mealworm daughters even took her bedroom and made poor Sqirmawella sleep right by the fireplace. So she had rough skin. One day they were invited to a ball. Sqirmawella asked if she could come but they said no!!! And then they left with their dresses on. But Sqirmawella had read her fairytales, and Sqirmawella was going to the ball and went upstairs right a way and opened a chest and took out a beautiful dress. She tried it on. It still fit! Then she wiggled off to the ball. When she got to the ball everyone was so beautiful. They all stared at her because she was the most beautiful mealworm at the ball. Her sisters recognized her at once and wanted her to be ugly so when it was mealtime they each took a pie and threw it at her. But they both missed the target. Instead, the pies landed on the prince mealworm. He was angry and yelled, "WHO THREW THOSE PIES AT ME?!?!" The sisters exchanged looks. Then they raised their tails. He sent them out of the ball immediately. Then he yelled, "DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THEY WERE THROWING THOSE PIES AT ME?" Then he called on Sqirmawella, and she said, "Because those were my sisters and they dont like me." "Thank you very much Sqirmawella." Just then she was thirsty and went for a drink. But someone accidentally pushed her head in the white fountain. When she pulled it out her rough head was as smooth as a pearl. She gasped. Then she looked at her tail and it was smooth as her head. When the prince looked at her she was so beautiful he wanted to marry her. So he asked her if they would marry, and she said yes! But on the wedding day something dreadful happened. The mealworm brides dress was stolen and the wedding cake was smushed! Immediately they began to search for the crook. "When we catch this crook," the mealworm prince said, "he will go to jail immediately. For the prize " "The judge will decide that " a mealworm interrupted. "Be quiet the prince is speaking," the prince said. "As I was saying, if one of you mealworms find him, the prize money will be 100,000 dollars, and the wedding will be later." Soon they caught the thief. Then he went to jail. It turned out that the crook was Steaven Stolen, the dirtiest mealworm crook in the century. He always had tricks up his sleeve. But a witch had put a spell on him to live on and on. Then the mealworms had the most beautiful wedding ever, and they had a happy life for the rest of their lives. The End. |
