Somebody I LoveBy Brian Stegall I love my dad because when I'm with him my life lights up like I'm in heaven talking to Jesus. He makes me laugh so much and so hard with his trick knee bone that tears run down my face. His trick is that he grabs your knee with a grip like a grizzly and squeezes. It makes you laugh a whole bunch. That's not all, here's the big one, my dad makes the best BBQ chicken. Well, let's just say compared to it, pizza tastes like rotten garlic. When my dad plays chess he never lets me win, but he taught me a secret move so that I can win in four moves. Oh, and when Friday night comes my dad always makes me a special dinner and rents movies. When my dad does all these special things for me, it makes me know I'm important and loved. Whenever my dad drives somewhere with me, if somebody was driving dumb, he makes up a name for them like Bob or Bill. Then Dad says stuff like "My name's Bill, see I've got my name on the back of my belt, see it right there on my belt, see? " He says it in goofy voice that only he can do and it cracks me up. That is why I love him! |
