My Traveling Friend

By Paige Hinton

She’s riding on a dolphin
whisking through the air
riding on that big dolphin,
it just isn’t fair!

She’s tumbling in the water,
resting in the skies,
on a poofy cloud,
there she lies.

She’s breathing on the heavy mist.
Blowing on the wind
with her strong voice still here
I will remember where she all has been.

Outer space.
A mall in New York
In the Ancient China
Shrunk on a fork.

Her name starts with an I
Her name ends with an N,
She is always with me
Because she’s my imagination!
