My Jericho

By Rachel Skud

Jericho walks everyday at the Roo Roo park.
Black fur, white fur and brown eyebrows
For his girlfriend Sky, he makes his mark.
A sled dog with soft, giant paws,
I like to kiss his forehead
For no reason, just because.
At night I bring him a drink
He lays down and sleeps, no snores,
Thinking of Sky Baby wiggling in his dog dreams, I think.
