December 2002 Dear Sterling, My favorite place in Alaska is on the charter in Whittier. I remember the salty sea air. It seemed like I got a fish every five minutes. When I got a fish I would say, “I think I have a fish” and Grandpa would help me. I was on the boat with my grandpa, Travis, Dad, and a girl named Alayna, and the driver, Jody.
