....It is almost time and the emotions of being nervous and excited kept building inside me as if I was going to explode. I was preparing to step on the ice and compete at the Top of the World completion here in Anchorage, Alaska. My stomach was turning and just when I felt I couldn't stand it anymore......"Please welcome our own Miss Molly McGuire," said the announcer. As I stepped on the ice and started to skate my program my nerves faded and only the excitement remained. I was gaining more and more confidence with each jump then came the final and most difficult jump, the triple sow, and I nailed it. The audience was on their feet cheering for my first place performance. I was thinking of you while was on the podium receiving my medal!
