Alaska is a great place to live because of the weather. In the summer I stay up late at night because of the midnight sun. I get to play basketball and football. In the winter I ski and go snowboarding at Alyeska and sometimes at Hilltop. At Alyeska, you can stay in hotels that are really nice. When I was there on my first ski day, I did not know how to steer. When I went down the hill I kept on falling. Then, when my sister when down she crashed into a tree. When she got up, she kept on falling.      Michael Russell
