Dear Grandpa, My favorite place in Alaska is Homer. I like it because it is a great place to go fishing and boating. It also has lovely scenery, like the sun hitting the mountains at sunset or the sparkling water of Cook Inlet in the morning. I think you would like it if you haven’t gone there before. It is a long way from Anchorage to Homer, but the trip is beautiful. If you like fishing, Homer is the place for you. There are so many different kinds of fish that it would boggle the mind to count them all. Love, Jarret
