To Submit WorkLitSite Alaska is produced by Alaskans and features the works of Alaskans of all ages. LitSite Alaska welcomes submissions of Reading and Writing Exercises for our Workbooks and feature articles for our other sections. LitSite Alaska is edited for format and content. Like any magazine, we cannot always publish everything we receive. General GuidelinesWorks that you send us must be your own and not copyrighted by others. By submitting your work to us, you are giving us permission to publish it on LitSite Alaska. All works (texts, photos, and illustrations) on LitSite Alaska are copyright protected and all rights revert to their authors. If you wish to have children identified by their first name only, you must explicitly tell us so. Special Note about Workbooks: LitSite Alaska strives to publish working exercises that offer high-quality resources for teachers, parents, and students -- ones that have been proven in classrooms and homes around Alaska. When submitting a Reading or Writing Exercise for our Workbooks, please identify the section (Reading or Writing) and grade level of the exercise. Describe the exercise as it would take place in a classroom setting, explain the aims of the exercise for promoting reading and/or writing, and offer examples of student work if available. Tell us if you are a parent, a teacher/educator, or a librarian, where you have used this exercise, and how students responded. Send a photo if you wish. Please include contact information, including your phone number, in case we have any questions. How to Send Us Your WorkThere are three ways you can submit your work: by e-mail, mail, or hand delivery.
