Alaska Statewide Database Trial Project
This section offers several databases that offer full articles from thousands of magazines and newspapers. These databases may be accessed from any computer in Alaska!

Photograph Collections Online
Here the state library has put up a sampling of photographs from three collections: Gold Rush, Alaska Purchase Centennial and the miscellaneous collection. Available photographs include cityscapes from the turn of the century, Alaska Natives and famous Alaskans, and scenes from early Alaskan Industry. See what sustained Alaska before oil!

In addition to these resources, a visitor can also find links to the State Archives, State Museum, library catalogs across the state, and the Library of Congress. Take the library for a test drive today. It can get you to where you want to go to today better then those folks in Redmond.
