The Hunter

By Christopher Lee

Christopher Lee's maskOnce, there was a small village on the coast of Alaska, named Forsaken.

There was a hunter mightier that 20 full grown brown bears. He was very smart too. Whenever he went out hunting, he would go alone in the tundra and would bring back just enough food for the people.

Soon, the people started to complain because they wanted more food to fill up their bellies. That meant going very deep in to the forsaken tundra. Only the hunter knew that there was an evil spirit in the deepest tundra waiting for a hunter to come.

The hunter thought that if he didn't get more food for them, the people might not like him. So the hunter went. He went for food. But the evil spirit arose from the ground and killed the hunter. The people started to starve and they had to hunt on their own and travel everywhere for food.

Then a good spirit saw the hunter dead and decided to make him a spirit because the hunter had been good to the spirit in his lifetime. The hunter (who was now a spirit) thanked him. He found the evil spirit and fought him and never returned because he is still fighting the evil spirit. That's why you can't find a spirit as bad as that evil spirit anymore. Without the hunter's help the village people have to travel miles and miles for food. That is how that small village got its name, Forsaken.
